Ryan Ketterman of Ketterman Photography is an incredibly talented photographer who was looking for more back-end functionality for his website. Having designed his original site as well as his Archive site, a Blackbook ad and his business cards, I’m familiar with his design aesthetic. The time had come to retire the very cool Flash site and allow him the ability to update the content and galleries on his site.
Ryan is very savvy and had some ambitious ideas for his content management system. We enlisted the creative genius of Trey Harrell to help us build a system that allowed not only him to update his content and galleries but also to add custom meta data for each page and image, which images are featured with on the fly ordering as well as the cool javascript transitions.
The results are a stylishly cool site that has the animated feel of his Flash site with the power of a custom-built content management system.
